Fotini Stefanidi presented her solo exhibition at Macart Cultural Space from Tuesday November 29, 2022 until January 14, 2023. The unit of works covered a large part of the painter’s career, with the main body of paintings created in the last two years. The exhibition was essentially divided into two parts; in the first, a selection of small observational works made over time; in the second, recent larger compositions where the initial notes are developed into paintings. The visitor, from his, almost direct, communication with a single small element of nature, was transported to the overall feeling of twelve gardens that reveal their secret to the one who wants to listen to them. The eponymous book-catalogue of the exhibition was prefaced by the archaeologist Vassilis Aravantinos.
